I have been a certified Personal Trainer since 1997 by both AFAA, and by the Wingate Institute (since 1987).
I was a Military Fitness Instructor, and a martial arts instructor, (Krav Maga, aka Contact Combat), training special units (only men) 1986-88.
I owned a Gym and 2 dancestudios.. teaching one on one personal training as well as group classes, until I came to the USA in 1995, I resumed group fitness instruction in 1997 at Equinox, (19th st, 63rd st, 92nd st,54th st), Chelsey Piers, and Crunch 54th st.
I brought Krav Maga style kick boxing classes, and Belly Dance classes for fitness to the Gyms in NYC, and from there my career took off, I was featured in Time Out magazine, NY times Science section, and Sunday Styles section,(twice), Vogue, Elle, Shape, Sportsfile, and the New york Post,(twice)…On TV I have been featured on Channel 1 NY, 7, and 12 (Fitness California).
* With training experience at all levels, I help my clients achieve long-term results with varied and challenging workout.
I will design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for athletes and work one-on-one with both active and sedentary clients. I offer the most current fitness information to provide the best service available.
Working out in a group can be a nice change of pace and add a social and motivational element to the workout experience.
